This cramming session is aimed to inspire and focus anyone itching to get started with their short. It will cover the why, the what, the where and the how of short documentaries and will include:

  • The place of the short doc in the grown up world of documentary - how your short documentary can become your calling card, and launch you onto bigger and better things, including building your profile, proving your talent and making you officially worthy of the job title: filmmaker.
  • Top tips for making a great short - using successful short documentaries as examples, this session will break down what works, what doesn't and why, including style, approach and subject matter.
