Amber Dobinson
Amber has worked with DFG since 2008 and oversees our training department which provides a host of exciting training opportunities and events for established and emerging documentary filmmakers, as well as working with DFG's groundbreaking documentary production and training initiatives, such as What's Your Story? Before joining DFG, Amber gained factual programming experience with ITV and as a press coordinator for the international music festival WOMAD (alongside BBC4 & Radio 3). Developing new filmmaking talent with The UK Film Council's First Light scheme, led to supporting pioneering training initiatives with south-west based production companies before making a big move to London.

Andy Glynne
Andy is the Chief Executive of DFG and the Managing Director of Mosaic Films. Andy was initially trained as a clinical psychologist, and became involved in documentaries around ten years ago. Since this time he has established himself as an award-winning filmmaker, most recently winning a BAFTA for his series Animated Minds. As a Producer, Andy has been instrumental in creating specific strands for new filmmaking talent both in the UK and around the world, as well as working on a number of award-winning programmes for UK television. Andy has also written the critically acclaimed book Documentaries and How to Make Them published by Kamera Books.
Claire Proudfoot
Claire is the training co-ordinator here at DFG; she joined us in January 2010. She is the person to speak to regarding any of your training needs, and to get advice on how to take your career forward with DFG.
Claire has been working in broadcast since 2004. She started her career as a researcher and writer working on magazine programs and educational television. From there she progressed to production manager, and to producer/director. She was based in Johannesburg and worked all over South Africa as well as in Namibia, Zambia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Sudan, before moving to the UK in 2008.

Deborah Kingsland
Deborah is a producer and development consultant with DFG. She has broadcast credits as producer and director in UK, (C4) Australia,(ABC) Italy, Kenya and Ethiopia. For seven years, Deborah lived in a variety of countries in Africa, working as a broadcast producer, director and film lecturer. Deborah has developed a number of new courses for DFG including the one month DocDiploma and she has worked extensively with emerging filmmakers. She produced DFG's award-winning initiatives Science on Film (2008) and ISIS (2009).
In 2009, she produced and directed Survivors and Services - a series of films about ending violence against women for the Equality and Human Rights Commisssion and she directed The Strongest Bond with DFG's sister company Mosaic Films for M&C Saatchi and DFID. Kerry McLeod
Kerry has worked with the Documentary Filmmakers Group since 2005, overseeing its online presence and producing a range of industry events, including Newcomers Day and the Mini-Meetmarket at Sheffield Doc/Fest and the popular 10x10 initiative for independent filmmakers running since 2007 in London.
She also works with DFG’s sister company Mosaic Films as a producer. Her current project is the multi-platform initiative London Recut.
