To celebrate the world premiere of the Why Poverty? UK Shorts, Joseph Rowntree Foundation are hosting a special screening and drinks reception at Sheffield Doc/Fest. Join our sister company Mosaic Films to watch the films, meet the filmmakers and some special guests, and enjoy a drink afterwards. Find out more here.
The three short films, which were pitched at Sheffield Doc/Fest last November, will also officially premiere as part of the festival programme in a special Why Poverty? strand.
A musical documentary about Camden Calling: a collective of homeless, ex-homeless and vulnerable people from across London who have come together to turn their lives around. Produced in partnership with BBC Storyville and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Millions of British families can never afford a holiday. We follow one such family as they leave their council estate for a subsidised rural break, revealing some little-recognised truths about poverty along the way.
